Branded Podcasting. What? Why?

In short, a Branded Podcast is an engagement game changer for your business, but if you’ve listened to my own podcast you’ll know I rarely leave anything at the shorts. 

Firstly, let’s clear the air…

A Branded Podcast is not a Creator-led podcast,

which if you’re a brand, you could (and should) absolutely sponsor if you want to connect with a creators audience. Because that’s exactly what they are, the creators' audience, not a brands audience.

The creator owns the content, the podcast tone, direction and the reputation. 

A Branded Podcast is when a brand creates the entire podcast from the ground up based on what they’re looking to achieve from it (which is very important to identify before you start working on your podcast content).

And when I say the entire podcast, I mean everything:

  • the shows content theme

  • the episode architecture

  • the host and guest strategy

  • the artwork

  • the back-end management so you can see real time data

  • the marketing strategy to promote it..

  • Etc

the content is entirely yours to promote yourself within and repurpose how you wish.

The best branded podcasts (and the ones with the best return on investment) look and feel like a creator led podcast created to serve an audience - because that’s exactly what they are.
